Shaftesbury Hall is leased to the University of Gloucester on a 21 year lease, and all rooms are allocated directly by them.

Shaftesbury Hall consists of 104 study bedrooms in 18 flats each with ensuite shower rooms and shared kitchen/dining rooms. The scheme is located next to Francis Close Hall one of the University Campuses in Cheltenham. There is also a Warden flat and a laundry on site.
